The Inspire Wokingham Group are once again hosting Open Doors Week for Clubs and Leisure facilities in Wokingham. In such an exciting year for sport, we want to make Open Doors Week bigger and better than before as we build on the excitement of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We want to seize the opportunity to inspire the whole community to get involved in sport and physical activity in this very special year.

We would like to invite all clubs and leisure facilities to be a part of the 2012 Open Doors Week and promote their club leading up to one of the most exciting sporting events this county will ever see. This year’s Open Doors Week will begin on Saturday 7th July 2012 and will end on Sunday 15th July 2012. This year, Open Doors Week will be offering children, young people and adults an opportunity to ‘try sport for free’ in a relaxed and sociable environment.

We are asking you to offer one or more free sessions of sport or physical activity during this week (this could be a session you already run, or a new one for beginners/first timers). We will advertise your club and session in a booklet that will be sent out to every single school child in the Wokingham borough. This is a fantastic opportunity to boost your club membership and profile.
